Netscape 4.7 New Profile Setup
First you will need to load the User Profile Manager. You can find this by following these steps.
Go to the start button Go to programs Go to Netscape communicator Go to utilities Click on user profile manager This will open the following window. Simply click the New
button.
This will open an introductory window simply click the NEXT
button. On this screen enter your Name as
you would like it to appear John Doe. Then enter your email address. username@harbornet.net.
Click the NEXT button. This screen is where you enter your Profile's name. You can type
what ever you like here. Usually your real name or email address. Then click the
NEXT button. This screen asks for the outgoing mail server name mail.harbornet.net,
then click the NEXT button. On this screen you will enter your Email username, and the
Incoming mail server name mail.harbornet.net. Choose POP3 as the
server type and click the FINISH button.
You are all done you have then entered all the needed information to use
Netscape Messenger with your HARBORNET.NET mailbox.
