Windows 98/ME Setup

The Internet Connection Wizard can connect your computer to HARBORNET.NET.NET if you use Windows 98 or ME.


  1. Click the Start button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen
  2. Click Programs
  3. Click Accessories
  4. The Connection Wizard is located in either the Connection Options, or the Internet Tools Option
  5. Once you click on the Internet Connection Wizard, the screen below should appear.
  6. Three options will appear, choose the third option, I want to set up my Internet connection manually
Click Next

 

Choose the first option I connect through a phone line and a modem

Click Next

 

Uncheck Dial using the area code and country code

Type in the area code and the local access phone number that your computer will dial into the box.

**Please note it is the customer's responsibility to find the correct access number that is a local call.**

Click Next

 

In the Username box enter your HARBORNET username
Note your username is the same as the beginning of your e-mail
In the password box, type your HARBORNET.NET password
Click Next

 

Enter HARBORNET.NET in the Connection name field

Click Next

 

 

Click No at this time.

Click Next
